Crystalline - adj
1: consisting of or containing or of the nature of crystals; "granite is crystalline" [ant: noncrystalline]
2: distinctly or sharply outlined; "crystalline sharpness of outline"- John Buchan
3: transmitting light; able to be seen through with clarity; "the cold crystalline water of melted snow"; "crystal clear skies"; "could see the sand on the bottom of the limpid pool"; "lucid air"; "a pellucid brook"; "transparent cristal" [syn: crystal clear, limpid, lucid, pellucid, transparent]

So, look at the bolded section for a second. "Able to be seen through with clarity." As in hiding nothing. I hide absolutely nothing about myself from myself or anyone else. I refuse to.

To the ones who want me on my knees:
You cannot control my destiny.
There is light that flows within my veins.
There is darkness for the ones who bring me pain.

Assemblage 23: "Light"

Oooh, a fan of A23? Rock on. I adore Tom Shear's lyrics.

< Spatch > I'm going off the deep end... and I'm bringing each and every one of you with me.
< Anson > There is no deep end, only Zuul.

Pencilfetish: well, not so much a fetish as a obsession for collecting. I'm like the guy in Conspiracy Theory, except for me it's pens and pencils instead of copies of The Catcher in the Rye; if I find myself without a writing implement I am [I shit you not] mentally compelled to go buy one.

I love to write and draw, much more on paper than digitally. If I ever get off my lazy ass and buy a decent scanner I could make some decent meat doing avatars...

Basically, if you ever find yourself daisy-chaining multiple dongles together, you must be doing pretty well in life.

When I joined, I wanted to play a fighter-type character.

Fighter-type characters are usually responsible for bringing the pain, so I tried to think of a painful-sounding name.

I have this thing with eyes. I can't even watch people put in contact lenses. I have to have (I shit you not) someone kneel on my chest to give me eyedrops. So I thought of the most painful thing I could think of at the time...Eyespeculums.

I can't tell you the damage that A Clockwork Orange wrought upon me. And Farscape? Don't get me started on Farscape.

My old IRC nick used to be Synch, the comic book character from Generation X. I got bored of this after a while, and decided to spice it up a bit. Thus I added Kronos (the greek titan of time) to make a homophone of synchronous, which is a modem setting. My favourite alternate nick is Asynkronos, for obvious reasons :P

I thought what I'd do was, I'd pretend I was one of those deaf-mutes

My name? Ehhh, it really doesn't mean anything. I came up with it on my own. I even did a Google search on it, and four things popped up, all of them being posts I made on various forums using this handle.

I'm truly original. :)

Hi. Just curious what everybody's nickname is from, and why you all picked them.

Well my real name is Zach and when I was signing up for KoL I was eating some Papa John's Pizza and watching the sopranos...Everything just seemed to click after that.

This is my real name... My parent's are sick and twisted with a mean sense of humor. My pa almost named me Sue after that Johnny Cash song. They thought it would make me tougher.

I'm a pastamancer... what do you want?

Trogdor, like from Homestar Runner, and 1337, which is, obviously, 1337-speak for "elite". That simple.

Looking back, I actually think it would have been cooler if I did "Trogdor the 1337" or something.

I used to sign some e-mails (still do, sometimes) with:

So, then at some point I used it for an e-mail address. And I used it for KoL.

That may have been the most boring story ever.
