Wormwood's PvP Helper
For someone who knows nowt about fiddly things like HTML, I'm pleased as punch that I was able to make this in short order. :-)

I modified Marshall's Firefox-friendly helperpane to make this customised PvP Stalk and Attack Helper panel. It's intended to make it easier to stalk more powerful players while minimising your own shore and buffing time.
Code:
<html><head><title>Quick links for Repeat Actions</title></head>
</html>
<body bgcolor=white text=black link=black alink=black vlink=black>
<font face=Arial,Helvetica size="2">

<FORM name=sneakypete action="http://www3.kingdomofloathing.com/shrines.php" method=post target=mainpane>

Some HTML Forms help would be appreciated. How to mirror/link the textboxes for Stalking and Attack so I don't have to type teh same playerID in both places.

I'm having the weirdest problem with buffs and the helper window.

If I buff somebody once (say, polka of plenty for 8 MP), I lose 8 mp and they gain 15 adventures of polka (like you'd expect).
If I do 2 or more buffs (I've tried up to 15 at a time), I lose the correct amount of mp (120mp in the latter case), but they still gain only 15 turns. Same thing happens when buffing myself.

Are you using the default code here? Or what code are you using exactly? I can't really say much except, "It works for me." *shrug*

Aha! I'm using the Accordian Theif skills posted by Sandry on the first page of this thread.
Changed
Code:
<input type=text class=text size=3 value=1 name=quantity>

to
Code:
<input type=text class=text size=3 value=1 name=bufftimes>

and it seems to be working fine now.

I have the DB skill code:

Code:
<form name=skillform action=http://www.kingdomofloathing.com/skills.php method=post target=mainpane><input type=hidden name=pwd value='PASSWORDHASH'>
<input type=hidden name=action value="Skillz">

Use Skill:
<select name=whichskill><option value=999>(select a skill)</option>
<option selected value=5000>Disco Aerobics (1 MP)</option>
<option selected value=5007>Disco Nap (7 MP)</option>

<option selected value=5011>Disco Power Nap (10 MP)</option>
<input class=button type=submit value="Use Skill"> <input type=text class=text size=3 value=1 name=quantity> times</form>

Of course, replace PASSWORDHASH with your own :wink:

EDIT: Wow... I also managed to figure out the mall search all by myself. The code, for the more challenged, is:

Code:
<form action=http://www.kingdomofloathing.com/searchmall.php method=post target=mainpane><input class=text type=text name=whichitem size=20> <input class=button type=submit value="Search"></form>

I actually revised it to put in the "Show only the cheapest ___ prices", but I'm on my friend's computer right now, so I'll have it up later on.

Also, could anyone help me with the closet? I just need the code to put in/take out a TPS (#938). Also, I'd like to know how to make this do message sending, and adventuring.

Also, is it possible to get one page to work on all of the servers? Thanks.

I started trying to work on message sending, but the code was scary. I think it was mostly the item code. A possible solution would be a drop-down with every tradeable item in the game, but I don't think I'll be the one to do it.

Did anyone make anything that changes the password HASH automatically?

when I noticed that Jick had added this I thought "Does this mean I'm gonna have to fiddle with javascript and make my little helper thingy get the hash automatically?". I had decided to be content w/ cut&pasting my hash when I felt like messing around, but I will now have to try :). Thanks alot for ruining my attempt at being lazy!

Ok, heres what I have, it doesn't work due to JavaScript security :(. Anyone knows a way to get around this tell me.
("Error: uncaught exception: Permission denied to get property Window.getElementsByTagName")

in head, in <script type=javascript> tags
Code:
var PWDHASH
   function findhash()
   {
      if(confirm("Finding the hash requires changing pages, is this ok?"))
      {
         top.frames[3].location='http://www3.kingdomofloathing.com/closet.php'
         PWDHASH=top.frames[3].getElementsByTagName('input')[0].value
      }
   }

In Body,
Code:
<form name="hashfinder">
<input type="submit" value="Calibrate PASSHASH" onclick='findhash()'>
</form>

Ideally, this would work in a helper pane in marshalls main window.
