I will soon be going on one of my many semi-regular business trips to the Big Smoke. I will have an evening to kill in London on the 7th of November. Anyone who wants to hang will be treated to dinner and a few drinks, possibly a tirade or two by me on the all-encompassing subjects of books, film, TV and music.
Any interested parties?

I know Bete... I know.
Response was so overwhelming last time, I decided to use sarcasm to deflect any time wasters.
I will be in Birmingham (not Alabama...England, silly people) on the evenings of the 28th and 29th of November.
I will be in London on the evenings of the 6th and 7th of December.
If anyone wants some company, a free meal, and the opportunity for an embarrassing photo you are welcome to join me.

Birmingham was a good trip. So I shall try this again.
I will be in London with time to kill on the evenings of the 6th, 7th, 18th and 19th of December.
Anyone who would like to hang out should get in touch.

Oh Olives made from Jarkk... your 24-hour error can yet be redeemed.
I will be in London with time to kill on the evenings of the 17th & 18th of January.
I will be in Newcastle (way-hey, mon!) with time to kill on the evenings of the 23rd, 24th & 25th of January.
Anyone who would like to "hang" as the kids are calling it, is welcome to get in touch via PM, IM, email or carrier pigeon. I will buy you a drink, probably dinner, and perhaps, even (who knows!) a lovely parting gift.
I await responses.

I met Phyphor last night, and it was (in the words of Fujiko) "awesomecakes." We ate chinese food, had a drink, and wandered around London covering all subjects of import (i.e. books and films).
It looks like we will be meeting up on my next visit, on the 31st. The more the merrier, so... any takers?

It was rude of them to come so late at night like that. If you're going to abduct someone, at least let them say goodbye to their loved ones, assholes. |

Errrm, that's in walking distance of DC, right? Or at least accessible via Metro?

There is a Metro station right near my hotel... but I think it is the Newcastle Metro.

So, more travel dates:
I will be in London with time to kill on the evenings of the 13th & 14th of March.
I will be away at Disneyland Paris with my family from Thursday to Sunday, so I won't have much time to arrange anything. If you contact me, you may not get a reply until the 12th.
