Hey guys. I was just wondering if any of you had the hobby of shooting. I love going out to the range and target shooting and just having fun with some of my buddies. Though I'd check it out and see if any of my fellow gamers had the same hobby.

I personaly don't shoot. However, I'm the daughter of an avid shooter. Dad got his 50 caliber, and is therefore a VERY happy man.

Lol one day when I grow up and have money to throw at a 50, probably Desert Eagle, I might purchase one. Right now I have more realistic desires

Yeah, I grew up shooting. Everytime I go back home, I like to get out on the range and wreck some targets.

My favorites are my old man's .357 Sig Sauer and my Savage .308.

I haven't shot a gun in years - but it's a skill I picked up growing up in the South. In fact, I don't know of anyone who grew up in the South and didn't learn to shoot.

The gun I learned how to shoot with was a Daisy BB gun with the sights removed. After that, I always felt that aiming with sights to be cheating :D

I don't shoot now. I was on a smallbore/air rifle team for a bit in college, though. That was fun.

Yeah I'm actively saving for a few guns. Next on the list... Colt XSE Blued Carbon steel. Shooting is a really expensive hobby.

There is an interesting juxtaposition of your avatar and gun experience.

LoL. I never go shooting with people I don't know. If I did I'd take my kevlar. The last thing I need is to get shot by some drunk in the woods! Good point Fnord, I'm not sure I would have noticed that.

Odd, when I heard her say "50 Caliber", my first thought was not "Desert Eagle" (which by the way is an overweight jam-o-matic), it was the .50 BMG, as thrown by something like my M82A1.

The Barrett was what I had in my head also. Now to find someone with an inside line on AP munitions.
