Well, for anybody who's a fan of both Lovecraft and anime, there's always this timeless classic: .
It's a retelling of Neon Genesis Evangelion, except that instead of crazy Christian symbology, it uses the Mythos. In my opinion, it's one of those rare fanfics that exceeds the original material. Really, really creepy.

Very interesting.. I'm going to check those out. Gaiman has done a few things I've enjoyed, so I'm sure these don't suck.

Neil fucking Gaiman!
I'm a huge Sandman fan (rhymey!).
Gaiman as a novelist, though, can't be overlooked -- Coraline is a great children's book and American Gods is simply brilliant.

I've read one Gaiman book. I don't recall which one. I have a serious lack of any cool readagings when I'm home in Iowa though... sigh...
EDIT: Read thread more carefully, Zilla. American Gods was the book I read.

You can't say you know Neil Gaiman until you have read the entire Sandman comic series... It is a work of genius..
Then there is "Neverwhere" and the short story anthology "Smoke and Mirrors" that need to be read...
And, of course, you can NEVER forget the absolute CLASSIC book, which he wrote in collaboration with another Literary Giant (hmmm... new Kingdom monster perhaps... He inscribes his name on your ass), Terry Pratchett: Good Omens

Wormwood has scans of the entire Sandman series as well as sundry other Gaiman graphic novels. Someday, when I have access to a reasonably fast and stable pipe once again, I may be persuaded to setup a secure server. :)
