History of Loathing
We miss you Trog Dor, and thank you for this gift to the KoL community. - Bete Noire (#180553) & TavernWench (#358045)
Trog's original greeting: Below is the history of the online RPG parody Kingdom of Loathing. It gleaned from the Announcements and Trivial Updates pages, the forums, and the personal records of some players. Please msg me in-game (#33932) or on the forums for additions, corrections, and suggestions. Thanks are due up-front to Jick and Mr. Skullhead for a) this game b) not deleting the hundreds of old topics that have aided me greatly in this. A 'thank you' too to the folks who have filled in details and dates for me. Thanks to Chubbles and Qrrbrbirlbel for giving me a whole load of stuff to find out about and add. Special shout-out to Gigs for hosting this originally and BoozerBear for doing it currently.

And now, for the part that's going to piss you all off. I'm adding a "full" attribute, similar to the drunkenness. Once you're full, you can't eat anymore food until the next day.
Pimonkey draws up some rules and guidelines for the KoL forums. They (nor any other set) aren ever adopted.
Added the clan gym.
Rollover is around 3am EST during this time period. It is later moved up some 3 hours at an unknown date.
Added Insanely Spicy Enchanted Burritos to the game.
Sometime in June
The clan reset went (almost) as planned.
In an effort to clean up the clan page, and to conserve a little bit of bandwidth, the activity log has been moved to its own page.
Usable clan furniture has been moved to the "clan gym," and can now be used for more than one Adventure at a time.
All non-normal messages are now deleted after 2 weeks. This includes clan item, player store, flea market, and PvP messages.
Sometime between June 19 - July 10th
Arbitrary amounts of meat can now be attached to player messages.
Regular attacks and Moxious Manuevers now do a lot more damage to monsters whose level is lower than yours. Any monster who's way below you can now pretty much always be taken out in one hit, which is as I feel it should be.
Healing items, mp items, and stat boosters are now in the food/drinks inventory section as well as the miscellaneous section.
Healing items, mp items, and stat boosters can now be used in quantity.
Also, I put the Voluntary Level-Reduction Booth in Seaside Town. Check my post in The Forums for more details.
By popular request, the maximum turn limit has been raised from 120 (40 turns * 3 days) to 200 (50 turns * 4 days.)
